First warm sunny day without a high wind.
So I'm set up, among the racket of carpenter bees buzzing around me, knitting, chair, seasonal crate which is a side table in summer.
Miss Marple, knitting intently, Caribbean Mystery, except no ocean, no murders. I'll take it.
Soon it will be time for the annual six pack of beer, a summer thing. One lasts weeks. Or maybe designer ale. Craft beer seems appropriate with knitting.
A pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon!
ReplyDeleteSo early in the year, too.
DeleteA true sort of perfection.
ReplyDeleteAll the peaceful ingredients you need.
DeleteGreat Photo Post!
ReplyDeleteAnd a beautiful deck
It's like an extra outside room. And it doesn't matter if you drop crumbs.
DeleteIt was a day to be outside, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteSo early in the year, too. Cooler from now for a few days. So I seized the day.
DeleteI agree. Craft. Treat yourself.
ReplyDeleteI do like a good co-conspirator!
DeleteThat looks like a wonderful way to spend the day! I love your back yard patio!
ReplyDeleteI like it too. Just enough area to garden, not too much.
Deletewhat a lovely deck to laze on on a lovely spring day. beer is off my diet. too much sugar.
ReplyDeleteOne glass every couple of weeks doesn't add up much. But I don't even bother some years.
DeleteDefinitely craft ale as you keep an eye on the vicar's comings and goings.
ReplyDeleteYes, because who knows what goes on at the vicarage..
DeleteA lovely place to be on a sunny afternoon!
ReplyDeleteI like it very much. In summer it's good because it's shaded from about noon, and, like Miss Marple, I can't take much sun!
