Christmas books, gloves and deliveries

Here's the total of Christmas oriented books in the house. Two copies of the same book, same woodcut illustrations. Dylan Thomas and Ellen Raskin.

The cover of the first one was blank, so a very young Handsome Son set about providing it with the right info, adding his own touches.

Thomas did a live TV performance of this poem, and his voice still comes in when I read it. I think he did a Caedmon recording, too, when they did that great series of original live poetry recitals.

And back at the Ministry, gloves will soon be on their way. Maybe one more pair will go with them.

In other deliveries, Misfits showed up yesterday a day late but in good shape

And there's stock on the stove this morning as I type, trimmings from the onion and carrot prep, with earlier trimmings. Later it will be in a green soup of celery, parsley and spinach.  A Popeye special.

In tune with this wait

Happy day everyone,  follow your deliveries and be glad if they arrive! With any luck they won't take twelve days to get there.
