Special post with cheers and tears.
Celebratory dinner
Happy day, happy day.
Guilty, guilty, guilty plus 31 more.

It is sad that the office of The President has so been discredited by a now convicted felon.
ReplyDeleteNope, not the office, just that person. And law triumphed
DeleteCorrect! Very well said, Liz :)
DeleteYeS! YES! YES!
ReplyDeleteSo much this!
DeleteIf only I had some champagne hanging around the house.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of partying going on this evening! And a lot of people probably calling out tomorrow!
DeleteSo proud of that jury.
ReplyDeleteI am too. Unintimidated, unbossed. I love them.
Delete100% agree! Chris from Boise
DeleteNow, for all of the appeals. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThe hell with that. Tonight we party!
DeleteHow sweet it is!
ReplyDelete12 brave New Yorkers delivered what Congress and scotus haven't.
DeleteI agree with you. Now, the question is, what novel ways will he, along with his adulating crowd, try to undo the verdict? Having the Supreme Court in his pocket is no small factor. Not meaning to rain on your parade, but, with this guy, every time I think he is down for the count, he gets back up..... So many examples of scandalous behavior, all ignored! I am afraid to celebrate. Still. At least he has been declared guilty.
ReplyDeleteTonight we party! It's a wonderful day. We'll deal with the rest of it in good time.
DeleteI echo Joanne but wonder what the sentence will be and why he should be allowed to vote or run...
ReplyDeleteHe can't vote. As to running, we'll deal with that in good time.
DeleteWoo Hoo! Now we wait to see what happens next, but in the meantime definite cause for celebration!
ReplyDeleteYes, party for now, seize the good stuff.
DeleteSo what happens now?
ReplyDeleteImmediately we party. Then we work to get out the blue vote.
DeleteProud of and grateful to the jury. I know there’s disappointment to come, but this is cause for a celebration.
ReplyDeleteRight now let's enjoy the moment!
DeleteThree cheers that the orange idiot is undone and found guilty. Surely he cannot now continue his presidential campaign. I hope he's put away for a very long time - 4 years for every count, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteHe'll continue. We can hope he'll end in jail.
DeleteStupid question from an outsider - can it still run for presidential office again?
ReplyDeleteIt seems so. Massive loophole in the law. It seems this is something the Founders never thought could happen.
DeleteLike everyone else I rejoice in the verdict. Given his disrespect for the system, his repeated fines for breach of the gag orders, his other convictions, and the fact that he is facing multiple other trials, if he does not go to prison, as would any other citizen in similar circumstances, the system is still not working. Anyway, the appeal is going to drag it out a whole lot longer.
ReplyDeleteThe people in that jury are to be admired for their work under trying circumstances.
ReplyDeleteYes, death threats and harassment are certainly trying. They're free to speak now, but I hope they protect themselves.
DeleteI saw that video of everyone cheering in the bar. Let's hope the majority of voters feel the same way!
ReplyDeleteAnd that includes not criticizing Biden! We desperately need this win and I'm not tolerating any backsliding and oh, he shoulda stepped aside stuff. That said, now we party, tomorrow back to work to gotv!
DeleteI read something that that's an altered video, that it was actually about some sport event but I loved it anyway. all those people cheering!
DeleteThat jury GOT 'ER DONE!
ReplyDeleteNew Yorkers! Don't mess with them
DeleteYet, as a convicted felon he can still be president. Something is wrong there. But, yes, I was elated when I heard the verdict.
ReplyDeleteThe founders were a bit naive here and there. Didn't realize they had to spell that out. States have laws against convicted felons running.
Deletethe republican senate had two chances to bring him to justice and refused to do it so the People did it. and once again we have to rely on the People to prevent him from taking office a second time because the republicans will not abandon him.
ReplyDeleteTrue. Today we party, tomorrow it's back to gotv.
DeleteA lot of people will still vote for him, though, which to me makes them guilty too.
ReplyDelete
