Last day of the year, 123123!

Yesterday I suddenly felt like making a Tiny Tapestry, hauled out my lovely handmade and signed Hokel handheld loom, and here's what happened

Still on the loom in case I feel like making another little house on the same warp.

The plants have been repatriated next door, except the bromeliad is staying here and I'm free cycling my spider plant.

Let's hope for a better year coming up.

Happy New Year everyone, thank you for taking part here this year, and we'll continue in the new year which is already here in the Southern hemisphere.

  2. I don't think too many of us will be waving a sad farewell to 2023, but it is good to be able to wave at all.

  6. Happy Hew Year Liz to Your & Yours!

    Cute little house.
I saw a YouTube video where the crafter weaves rope around a cardboard box. I though of you seeing that. She hot blues rope pieces to the top edge, and then weaves in the rope around the sides.

  8. Wishing you (and us all) a better 2024. Wouldn't it be great if, like that cat, we could have just 2023 off the shelf?

    1. I listed it this morning at 7.30am. Picked up at 9.30. Several possible takers, and it went to someone I knew would show promptly, so it was only outside a few minutes. She's happy.
      Happy New Year!

  18. After reading the '123123' I now can't get Lawrence Welk out of my head. Thanks for that!
I think most of us are rather glad to knock '23 off our respective shelves, but somehow I wonder if '24 will be much better, particularly with the hooferfaw that's going to be swirling over your elections.
