The first group of daffodils faded, and the rain beat down a few others, so I picked them and here they are.
This variety is less strong against wind and rain, but it makes up for it with a powerful scent currently filling the living room.
And the faded ones are now in the freezer until they can be incorporated into paper.
The cycle of nature with an assist from your humble blogger.
As cheerful as lemons in a blue bowl.
ReplyDeleteThat suggests a lovely image.
DeleteSo pretty! No daffs in bloom here yet that I know of - still too cool. I don't suppose the owners thereof would take kindly to me nicking any either.
ReplyDeleteI think people have been picking the daffodils our family planted as a 9.11 memorial in the wooded edge of the development. But I thought maybe this year people needed them. Also today's residents may not know the history of the planting. Anyway they're gone, foliage still there.
DeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteYour daffodils do look happy.
