Another diy upcycle, no PVC pipe today

Exhibit One
Beloved cotton cowlneck whose neckline stitching has shrunk so it's hard to get it over my head

Exhibit Two
Solution. Cut it open and make yet another jacket. The stitch design makes it curl inward, probably no need for binding

Exhibit Three
Proud owner modeling same and cracking up laughing

I rest my case.

  2. Thank you. I've been wearing it all day, much more comfortable as a jacket than as a sweater.

  10. Golly, what a clever solution. Not only am I ham fisted with needle and thread, I simply don’t have clever ideas like that. You look charming in your new jacket.

    1. I expect there's quite a resemblance to dogonart. You're probably the only blogista who knows both of us.
