Storm prep, chipmunk division
Storm Isaiah is here, power flickering, trees bowing, rain in sheets.
An hour ago I saw some storm prep going on at the feeder
Hoping for the best. We have a state of emergency, tornado watch locally. Offer one up for us, please, that we be safe.
I think the worst is passing. Nearby towns impassable because of multiple trees down, wires down, some fires from live wires down. A friend lost multiple trees in the first few minutes.
Right now just rain. Hundreds of thousands of people without power. Up to now I'm spared. I did eat a hot lunch because you never know. And did the laundry.
I'm playing catch up with posts so have to assume by the fact there's another post that you have survived the onslaught. I hope there was a minimum of damage and that you were safe.
Stay Safe!
ReplyDeleteAll we have here in upper Vermont south of Burlington is rain.

A hot lunch, here the same.
ReplyDeleteIn the room with the A/C makes for sweater wearing. Outdoors looks so dreary.
Thinking of you...
ReplyDeleteHow very bizarre that instead of us getting this hurricane, you are. I am wishing you an easy time of it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're kept safe!
ReplyDeleteI hope all went well with the storm. I like storms that bring much needed rain but nothing else. I do hope that was your case.
ReplyDeleteI hope you escaped any damage.
ReplyDeleteI needed to read this one first. Glad to know the outcome though.

ReplyDeleteNerves a bit ragged, but otherwise good. Thank you.
