Today's weather, glad I'm indoors.
And today's wisdom from Emmy
Fever gone now, still coughing but feeling better. So I think we're on for tomorrow.
Off to lay table and retrieve stuff from freezer.
Happy day everyone! Keep well if possible, keep calm if possible, keep on keeping on!
Those are good reminders! Glad you're feeling a little better today!
ReplyDeleteYes, I found them pretty timely to address my low coldish mood.
DeleteGlad to hear you feel you're on the mend. As much as I hate bringing them all in and then having to take them all out in the spring, I do like the plants in the house during the winter.
ReplyDeleteAll of mine except the ficus are indoors year round.
DeleteHurray! Perhaps good wishes do promote healing. Or perhaps, as I suspect, you have one hell of an immune system. Don't do too much!
ReplyDeleteI did a bit of cooking then had to rest. Not quite there yet.
DeleteWell, ok. Glad you ar in recovery. Compared to some others, it seems that it could have been much worse. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThank you, yes, I seem to be doing better.
DeleteDefinitely a stay inside and keep snuggly warm kinda day
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling much better soon.
A nice hot cuppa and some soppy Christian movies would be my prescription for you.
I'm going to watch The Bishop's Wife, favorite seasonal movie!
DeleteGlad to hear you're feeling better - now, just don't overdo it! Merry Christmas wishes to you and Handsome Son.
ReplyDeleteThank you. My energy level isn't very high but I think I can just about manage to enjoy the day!
DeleteMerry Christmas, Liz. I hope you're feeling better,
ReplyDeleteThank you, yes, going in the right direction.
Delete6 degrees F (like old money), isn't that well below freezing? That's hibernating temperatures surely. Do have a warm Christmas though and some more nice food.
ReplyDeleteIt's way below! 32f being freezing. Wind chill even lower, because there's a wind. I think hibernating is called for, yes.
DeleteGlad to hear you are feeling somewhat better. Have a wonderful Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThank you, you too.
DeleteThe best to you, and enjoy that wonderful Bishop's Wife.
ReplyDeleteIt's my Christmas Eve tradition. I loved it again.
DeleteA good day indeed for hibernating and recuperating. I hope you feel more chipper on Christmas morning. Merry Christmas to you and Handsome Son!
ReplyDeleteTake care and have a sweet day!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're feeling better, Liz - and I must add you get more done when you're feeling less-than-100% than I do when in (my) top form! I hope you have a perfectly lovely Christmas :)
