After the storms moved away yesterday, I got out to pick violets and yellow sorrel for my first day of the month flowers.
And on the way, saw a bee sleeping in the honesty plant. Still there when I came back.

Such a sign of spring. Pretty little blooms!
ReplyDeleteThey're very fleeting, but lovely while they last.
DeleteDo bees really sleep on plants? I never knew!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely.
I didn't until recently. But when you think about it, this time of year they're going non-stop, so I guess even worker bees need a nap.
DeleteSleeping bees are a hoot! Nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteI guess they would need to rest from constant work...very pretty.
ReplyDeletePretty flowers - and all the better when they're free! Great photo of the bee.
