Later in May Day

After the storms moved away yesterday, I got out to pick violets and yellow sorrel for my first day of the month flowers.

And on the way, saw a bee sleeping in the honesty plant. Still there when I came back.

    1. They're very fleeting, but lovely while they last.

  2. Do bees really sleep on plants? I never knew!

    1. I didn't until recently. But when you think about it, this time of year they're going non-stop, so I guess even worker bees need a nap.
