Mundane Halloween is a witty Asian take on Halloween costume, where it's everyday situations instead of fantasy. Things like Woman who Forgot to Take out the Trash, and Man Walking to Work in a Wind. Complete with explanatory card to hold up.
The zookeeper in charge of the baby pandas is more self explanatory than most.
And speaking of catspaws, I found the scarf I'd knitted, and here's how it looks
Happy Halloween!
I’ve seen some of the Asian Hallowe’en costumes. Creative and hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThe scarf is beautiful. After all that work and effort, I’d wear it every day!
This has nothing to do with this post but last night I dreamed that I was going to make your butternut, carrot, cashew soup for some visitors for some holiday that we weren't going to celebrate. Had to go to the grocery store which was a madhouse, made my purchase, got to the car and realized I had forgotten the carrots, went back in and when I came out, I couldn't find my car.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Marie Smith. Happy Halloween.
ReplyDeleteEllen, that sounds like something I might have dreamed, especially about not finding the car!
ReplyDeleteNow that I've found the scarf in my mound of scarves, I probably will wear it more.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is tremendous!
ReplyDeleteAnd I were forced to wear a Halloween costume it would be quite mundane. Believe me.
I like those types of costumes too. I've seen friends go as a dust bunny and a magnet. One year I was a computer virus.
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is beautiful!
I could go as Old Party Tired from Cooking and Stitching, Ready to Sit Down. Practically any day, really.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the kind words about the scarf.
Happy Halloween, Boud! I've always loved that Peter de Seve print and the adoring look being shared between the little black kitten and the old witch!
ReplyDeleteNow that's my kind of costume!
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is certainly a piece of art - love the colour too.

That's pretty much how I got the demon due - they both came up and said - me, me, me!
