Drops and antique cars

My world is revolving around eyedrops started today for Thursday's adventure, and addressing, and whining about, my sore shoulder. Poor poor me!

Yesterday's movie was Genevieve, which I first saw when it was new. The cars are lovely, the actors less so, and the best scene is still Kay Kendall and the trumpet.

Happy day, counting my blessings here.

  1. You are entitled to a little 'poor me' right now, that's for sure. Watching movies is a good pastime and luckily they can be paused whilst you do your drop routine.

  2. Hope the next few days are relaxing for you, Boud!

  3. I also have not heard of this movie. I believe a little 'poor me' is a good thing, not a thing wrong with saying you hurt.

  4. I don't know that movie, but Dave will like it if it involves a trumpet! (He's a band teacher.)

  5. You have F's deepest sympathy on the shoulder. She had a spiky ball thing she uses to roll hers (leaning on a door), hot wheat bags, strange exercises, plenty of grizzling when there is only me listening....and some stretching out... good luck for the eye op. Xxx Mr T

  6. Have fun with the eyedrop schedule. That was the most arduous part for Mike. You'll be glad to have Thursday behind you - just a day and a half (but who's counting?) to better vision!

Your daily art is wonderful, no matter the medium. You are an inspiration (in both senses of the word - a breath of fresh air as well as one who inspires others).

  7. I saw Genevieve back when you did, and I mostly remember the cars. As for the rest, you will find yourself on the other side of it, and soon. If you wonder about all the mental buzz, it will be us, thinking of you.
