Advent and a diversion to Beautiful Metaphor

Here's what looks like St. Nicholas showing up with presents today.  Some people do this early in December.

Wonderful time with rugs, experts, history, color, pattern, design, just take a look at https://beautifulmetaphor.blogspot.com.  There seems to be a Blogger problem with linking. My link only worked for me! So i removed it and if you cut and paste the URL it should work. No guarantees with Blogger!

  1. Your Textile Museum Zoom meeting sounds fun, but when I clicked on the link it took me somewhere else on the web (actually behind the scene on my own blog). Kind of freaky. Don't know if it's something going on on my end, of if it does the same thing for others. Please check the link and let me know if it's working for you. If it does, then the problem must be on my end.

    1. It worked when I first put it up. I just checked and it's still working. That's a weird thing happening. The other way you can get there is just to go into Art, the Beautiful Metaphor the way you usually do.

    2. Reading other comments, I can see that it must have been a weird glitch. Thank you for checking, Liz.

    3. Be sure and catch that Beautiful Metaphor post, though. Nice pictures of a great collection of artwork in the form of rugs. The Textile Museum is a treasure house.

  3. It takes you to my other blog, Art the Beautiful Metaphor. Where did you find yourself? You can cut and paste this to get you there: https://beautifulmetaphor.blogspot.com

  4. Just to be clear: the link is supposed to take you to a post in my other blog. Not to Zoom, if that's what you were thinking?

    1. In case my text was misleading, giving the impression you were going into a Zoom meeting, which isn't possible from here, I've changed it so it's clear you are going to the other blog. Let's see if that helps.

  5. Thank you everyone who alerted me and tested the link. Mary Ann, Ms Magpie, gave me a great expo of what she was seeing. We've concluded that Blogger is doing something. Probably work behind the scenes. Sigh.

  6. There seems to be a number of hiccups going on with Blog-grrrrr at the moment. Not sure if it's because they're having issues or if it's because of the sheer volume of people on the internet these days. Or maybe it's just a case of indigestion!

  7. I had a problem with my blog too this morning. I guess we need to practice our patience.
