Brrrreaking news

 My former State

Ed note: it's about the crushing Dem victory in yesterday's Wisconsin State Supreme Court election. I first lived there when we came to the US. It's the dairy state, residents took the pejorative term cheesehead, adopted it and made cheesehead hats to reclaim it! Cheeseheads rule, over massive spending by M**k to buy the election.

My current state of NJ, our Senator Cory Booker

Do I pick winners or what? On a more optimistic day than quite a few recently, I'm just sayin'.

    1. Good day, while I was fussing over doors and sofas!

  2. I did not realize how vested I was in the Wisconsin race until the results last night. I felt such a weight lifted. The former co-chair of doge is running for governor in my state and I have my signs ready for a protest at a fundraiser for Vivek Ramswarmy tonight. We are currently having thunderstorms with lightening and Mother Nature darn well knock it off by 4!

    1. I don't know who created the image, but if I find out, I'll credit them. It's great! And it was a decisive win.

  4. So glad to hear about the win in Wisconsin! Cory Booker did a terrific job and had so many strong, logical, impressive things to say that I am sure he will be quoted over and over again. In my city, the Democrats won for city council and school board and for our local township too! All good news.

    1. Great day in a few ways. Cory delivered a seminar on civics and history, serious content, not reading from kids books.

  6. I've heard that the democrats are trying to get a bill to the floor that will block tariffs to Canada. Due to the unstable stockmarket, they feel that they can get enough Republicans to vote to get it through. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-urges-republican-senators-canadian-tariffs-place/story?id=120377866

    1. Yes, I'm hopeful about this one. There's gop unrest about the business uncertainty.

    1. There are already millions doing exactly that. All over the country. But the oligarch owned media aren't reporting. Huge turnouts for Town Halls where Dem MOCs are speaking in gop district's because gop mocs aren't showing up. Don't rely on media, they're not reporting.

    2. We're hearing about the protests here in Canada but perhaps not fully.

    1. Florida made significant gains in the elections, reducing the maga margin number by a lot. This is good news. It's what we hoped for. And it encourages other red districts to push for a Dem win.

  9. I agree -- Booker's resistance was good to see, and yes, even the Florida losses were by a lower margin than expected. I think the tide is turning. Could people be starting to see the orange menace for what he really is?!

  10. That is the best meme!! I grew up next door in Minnesota.
Soooo glad to see Elon (and the rest) defeated in Wisconsin. I had hopes for Florida, but it seems at least it appears they are catching on. :)

  13. I'm grateful you explained the significance of the cheese (good picture). Just as an aise I wonder if trying to buy an election is an efficient use of funds?

  14. I was thrilled by the victory in Wisconsin. Of course, my own stupid state, Florida, elected two you-know-whats, but we'll continue to fight.

    Love,

  15. Hats off to Mr. Booker and although not happy about Crackerland, the margin is smaller and may turn eventually, as you say.
