I can't settle to write a blog post. The insurer's contractor came to measure, assess then submit recommendation and costing. It now involves flooring, wall, framing, exterior parts, bigger job than I had imagined. And I still don't have responses from the HOA.
Back when I can.
Meanwhile I have the complete Mrs Pargeter on my Kindle to assist my calm. Murders, you know.
Listening to an imaginative murder mystery makes everyday problems seem insignificant . . . almost.
ReplyDeleteJust breath and watch the murders. They calm me too.
ReplyDeleteI like Mrs Pargeter but prefer Charles Paris. Especially when he's read by Bill Nighy.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your troubles. Not like you to be brought down.
I do love a good murder mystery!! Absolutely!! :)
ReplyDeleteCompletely understand.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. Every job seems bigger than it should be.
ReplyDeleteCathy
I hope all is quickly resolved. Concerned for you.
ReplyDeleteWishing you "Serenity Now."
ReplyDeleteMurders are so calming, to read — or to watch when they’re not real murders. Thinking about you much of the day.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good murder mystery to calm the nerves. I'm sorry this is becoming larger than anticipated.
ReplyDeleteSuch a worry, but it will all get done. Good to relax with a book! I love mysteries!
ReplyDeleteDo what you must. Conserve your energy. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteWhen Sue and I watch tv, we often jokingly say that we need a good, gentle British murder. We recently started to watch an American program. There were horrid fights and one brutal killing in the first 5 minutes, maybe 6 minutes if we stretch it. Let’s just say that it was in-your-face violent. Be kind to yourself in this stressful time.
ReplyDeleteMy husband doesn't understand why I listen to true crime podcasts while I work. I tell him I need something to take my mind off the awfulness going on around us.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
I hope it’s just listening and not actually carrying out lol
ReplyDeleteTake as much time as you need. We are all here for you. Rant away
