Autumn walk on the Preserve, lovely time in sun with cool wind, no birds

  1. Looks perfect :)
It's blowing a gale here today, and even Piper has no interest in a walk, which is okay with me. Struggling to make a small but visible dent in the hodgepodge of dull indoor tasks that have been neglcted for weeks while the outdoor work has been a priority. I'm beginning to think my idea of taking a little trip "sometime in October" is going to disappear without a trace... ;)

  2. Such a pretty walk! Speaking of birds - when I opened the curtains this morning the tree was full of birds - mourning doves, juncos, nuthatches, bluejays, chickadees and a woodpecker. Never seen that many at any one time before.

  3. Thanks for taking me along on your walk. I would love to sit on that bench and just relax the day away. :)

  4. Yes, I sit on that bench, too, very peaceful watching birds and butterflies and hearing the wind in the trees. And the gunfire of hunters on an adjacent property, it being deer season, but oh well...they do kill to eat, not just trophy hunters.
