No Kings everywhere!

I went online to my rally,  and, when they had to disable visuals because of trolling, I took a picture of me in yellow sweater with my hand made No Kings sign.

This was seen briefly on my online rally but when they cut visuals, I posted it on Spoutible to boost the signal, and got quite a bit of response. In fact it went viral.

I did get the chance to speak, encouraged hope and resistance, and the organizer plans to follow us here, great addition if she does.

So here's me, wearing yellow, the requested color of the day, with sign.

The rally ran for two hours, guests including Colorado AG, and other political figures and speakers from the online group got their say, too. It was really satisfying to take part and speak up.

If you missed it or want to do it again, there's another online event scheduled. Check it out! I had to crop out my personal details, but you can search for it.

Or copy and use this link

Earlier I'd been out for a walk in a different direction, lovely cool crisp weather

And here's the flower container, better view

Happy day everyone, I hope you got to take part with the millions of us who made our feelings known.

  1. I didn't take part, I'm in the wrong country, but I did think of all of you and hoped you would all be safe.

  2. Well done on your online rally! Thanks for the link to the Tuesday Zoom as well. Boise had a grand turnout, and I'm waiting to hear reports from friends in some of the smaller Idaho towns. (Just back from Colorado in time for the rally, and will catch up on your last several posts tomorrow). A lot of people stood up and spoke out today.

    1. So much for people claiming there's no resistance, because they hadn't seen it in the (oligarch owned right wing) media!

  5. It was good to hear that the day went smoothly - at least, I haven't read of any trouble.

    1. It went brilliantly. No arrests reported by any major city at all.

  6. Yay you for taking part in whatever way you can in the demonstrations. I’ve really enjoyed hearing the rational comments of how people now are re-affirmed in their powers.

  14. I went to a rally. A lot of beeping from passing traffic, a good sign.
