Medieval sort of day

Today was all about spinning, tapestry-weaving and bread baking.

I felt like one of those medieval women with a bunch of keys at their belt, and a pointy hat with a veil on the end.

  1. I know what you mean. I've been making Lavender sachets and watching snow falling. BTW the lettuce and Onions have sprouted. Surprised how quickly they germinated.

  2. Your second sentence reads like the start of a poem! Isn't it cool when seeds sprout? Yours have come through very fast.

    I just read a lot of pr for different small looms and will end up adapting the stretchers I have. I found the nails in my tool collection, and my favorite hammer. Results will be the same on a free loom as on a pricey one, probably. I do like making my own equipment. And spinning the yarn to weave with. It's a big part of the fun.
