Artisanal afternoon break
Scene: indoors, mid-afternoon, July, temp in mid nineties, feels even hotter, who cares, once it gets up there, might as well be 150f.

My first comment has vanished so pls excuse if this is a repeat. We still seem to be on the same wavelength...your lunch was almost a "snap" except I had strawberry chia preserve.

It's funny how that keeps happening. The piecing's going quite well, looking forward to arranging the patches to see my design. The rayon is more friendly than I expected. I was piecing while listening to The Nine, terrific book about SCOTUS, and Death Comes to Pemberly, which is very sloooow.
